Seattle MFTE Housing Progrom

Aperture on Fifth participates in the City of Seattle Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program. There are a select number of homes in this community that are part of this program. These homes are available to low to moderate-income households, with specific income requirements dependent on the size of the household and the number of bedrooms. These homes are open to all prospective residents who meet the community's rental screening criteria and are determined to be income-eligible for the MFTE program. Prospective residents will complete the community's standard rental screening process. Once complete, the community will certify the income of the household to determine program eligibility. To be considered eligible, the applicant must demonstrate that the total anticipated household income for the year after the move-in is below the maximum income limit for the home. Eligible residents will receive a restricted rent that is capped at a maximum amount for a defined period. Ineligible applicants may not rent income-restricted homes. Please contact our friendly team in the leasing office for any specific questions.

By supporting mixed-income residential development in the urban centers, the MFTE program ensures affordability as the Seattle community grows.

Aperture on Fifth is proud to participate in the Seattle Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) program to provide rent-restricted homes to those with limited income. The maximum allowable income is determined by the city, expressed as a percentage of the Area Median Income (%AMI).  Aperture accepts 65% AMI for studios, 75% open one bedroom and traditional one bedroom, and 85% for 2 bedrooms. For more information, please visit the Seattle Office of Housing website.
